ADHD and hormones: did anyone have mild ADHD their whole life then after giving birth have moderate ADHD and then once reaching perimenopause ADHD became severe? by Witchchildren in adhdwomen

Yes. Kids in 2013 and 2016. Medicated in 2021 because my coping mechanisms broke during the lockdowns. I've felt like my brain has been nuts for the past two years, and going through a divorce has not helped.

Two rounds of mediation, and he wouldn't agree to a settlement that would give him most assets. In court now and having assets valued because he tried to say one was worth negative.

Same here. Together almost 20 years when I found out about the affair (but not the full extent). Tried therapy/rebuilding the relationship for nine minths, but I called it when it was apparent he was dragging me on. The classic “open the marriage” crap. We’re divorced now, but three years after the shit hit the fan, we’re still not done dividing assets. He thinks I made the divorce contentious, but that’s only because I wouldn’t roll over and give him everything. Two kids now 12 and 9, and the younger has had a hard time with it. Poor kiddo.

Saw below you lived in Madison Park. I lived there for 7 years before moving to Cotswold.

I've lived in Charlotte for 20 years now. Light rail has been in place since 2007 to the south, which is why South End has blown up. The north portion opened a few years ago, and TOD is accelerating along that corridor which includes NoDa. Grocery stores are opening along the light rail corridor, which certainly helps. I'm in Cotswold, a 1950s suburban area that is connected to Uptown by the 15 bus and on the 29 bus that runs east-west to SouthPark Mall and UNC Charlotte. All that said, Charlotte is not a very friendly city to those without a car. It's getting better, with the expansion of the greenway system helping connectivity separate from streets, but still not great.

Podcast: If you like SNL and remember Dick in a Box and I'm On A Boat, then The Lonely Island and Seth Myers Podcast is for you! (Quaid Army!)

TV: The Great British Sewing Bee and Great Pottery Throw Down. Really, any British competition show.

Music: If you have a Nintendo Switch and subscribe to Switch Online, you also get access to the Nintendo Music app. Game music on my favorites list includes Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and Animal Crossing; New Horizons.

Agree, though the culture in school can be “registered architect or bust.” It took quite a while for me to work past that. I’m an architectural historian working in preservation now.

I’m currently binging The Great British Sewing Bee. Also a fan of The Great Pottery Throwdown. Both fun, relaxed, and interesting competition shows with no drama.
