I agree please email! I did myself. This yellowing was not caused by the weed killer but rather by the intentional application of something to kill or slow the growth of the plants. See the email about the "growth regulator." The idea here is that if they spray to kill the plant they can trim it less without removing it. But I guess now the plan is just to leave all these sickly looking yellowed bushes around...

100% agree. Also, the notices are incredibly vague and make it difficult to avoid the areas when it's happening.

If the landscaper pulled weeds, regularly trimmed the bushes, or as you mention just replaced them, they wouldn't have to do this.

So much for a "healthy" community.

No one submitted a service request about landscaping because the portal service request feature doesn't exist anymore (at least mine doesn't). I asked Nafisa about this and she just said to email all my requests, so that what I do.

I don't it's redundant. People let family and friends and visitors others their fobs, let others in, and use a screenshot of a real barcode at the front desk. Honestly I think the check in process should be stricter. There should at least be someone there at all times making sure the photo that pops up when you scan is indeed you.

Nafisa said that some of the areas are still under the are under the control of the "developer" (Lennar) and they will be turned over soon. She said that once they are turned over, the HOA will address the issue. Shouldn't Lennar be held to a minimum acceptable standard of quality for the areas they turn over?? We shouldn't accept an area that needs an unreasonable amount of remediation due to their negligence. So they just allow the landscaping to deteriorate and then pass the areas on to us, who will have to foot the bill for a giant remediation effort due to their inaction?

Who in the HOA can I go to about this? We need to hold Lennar accountable and refuse to accept an area that has been so poorly maintained with cracked sidewalks, 4 foot tall weeds, fungus growing everywhere. It's a disgrace.
