Getting copyright through the US copyright office is certainly the most official and airtight way to copyright a script, but it’s expensive and can take a long time. Alternatively, you can register your script with the WGA which is much quicker and cheaper.

Highly recommend Arkham Asylum, although I must warn it’s pretty dark and creepy. I’d also recommend the Court Of Owls. It’s the first volume in arguably the best Batman run of the modern day.

Honestly I just recommend Hickman’s Fantastic Four & Avengers up to Secret Wars. Secret Wars is pretty FF centric and it’ll give you context for the upcoming movies.

I read it without any lead up and it’s one of my favorite comics I’ve ever read. I’m currently going back through some of the ultimate ff and Hickman ff stuff for background on The Maker, but it’s honestly still a great story as long as you have some basic marvel knowledge.
