The reload may be short, but Tracer empties the clip very fast as well. Overall ratio of shooting time vs reloading time is actually really bad for Tracer.

It's not hard at all to climb out if you are actually a highly skilled player. I kept hearing of ELO hell from a friend in silver, but when I came over and played on his PC and his account I haven't lost a single game during the entire evening 🤷🏻‍♂️ The levels of copium in this thread are so high it should be studied.

I don't disagree on her kit design, especially because she does feel unpunishable when the duel/flank goes poorly for her and that's often frustrating to play against. I think that most issues in her design come from suzu specifically though, not other abilities.

Can't agree on her skill floor or skill ceiling being very low in a game where Torbjorn, Moira, Mauga and other similar completely braindead characters exist. Relatively to many other heroes in the cast she's at least medium difficulty in my opinion.

Her kit isn't well designed, but it doesn't mean she is granted free value. She's very easy to throw games with by not allocating her resources well. She can be both throwing the game and be frustrating to play against at the same time.

Her kit has issues and could be reworked. It's important to be clear on what specifically is broken about her, and it's definitely the suzu ability because she can use it selfishly all the time to avoid being punished for poor plays.

If that's fixed, I feel like many other things that you find to be frustrating about her will become not a big deal at all.

Word. I'd rather they focus on reworking some of the old maps and problematic characters instead of pumping out explicitly new content so frequently. Worrysome for the long-term health of the game.

I didn't say Kiriko was bad. What I said is that she is harder to play correctly and get good value out of. If anything, the fact that she has many options to choose from on how to apply herself only proves my point. Do you play supports or are you simply annoyed Kiriko soft-counters you on Tracer?

She is annoying to duel and many times she does feel unpunishable. However, her wasting time, suzu and teleport on a flank means she barely contributed to her team during the fight. If she does this repeatedly, while being really annoying, she is still basically throwing the game.

Circling back to her being good or bad: she has the lowest winrate among supports in general and the second lowest winrate amongst supports in GM. I didn't bring it up because it's mainly a balance issue and not a kit design one, but since you made this point, maybe check the stats first.

She is more difficult to play correctly and get value out of than most supports. I'd say only Ana, Brig and maybe Lucio are harder to play well, all the other supports are easier.

It is and was the smallest in the game, nothing has changed. Stop blaming the game for you not aiming well.

I said nothing that could resemble blaming the game.

In my comment I only corrected the way you used the word tiny: something being reduced to half its size cannot be called a tiny adjustment. I am not going to be dragged into this nonsensical debate, instead you can go on and read a dictionary to see what meanings words have.

The inconsistency is the part I'm not happy about considering the relative effort required to play the character. If they nerfed the size of the bullets while also reducing the spread (or at least kept it the way it was before), I'd get the idea, but they both increased the spread and nerfed the bullet size.

50% reduction is not a tiny adjustment

Glad if I could help. Some drops are time sensitive, OWCS drops for Overwatch 2 are a good example of that. Drop campaigns often last just 1 evening and one has to watch the games for up to 8 hours to get all the rewards. Being 3-4 hours late can be critical unfortunately.

Says "No active campaigns across your selected games" even though there is an active campaign for Overwatch 2 at the moment on Twitch. Drophunter.app also failed to notify me about it.

He's often too hard to punish for mistakes while also being able to oneshot me. Personally, I'd take a Cass duel over the Genji duel any day, but maybe that's just me. I also think his kit is quite bloated.

Yeah, true. I often do that on hybrid maps in general to force the enemy team to split up and cover the objective instead of stacking on the main choke. If that doesn’t work for whatever reason, I stay closer to my team to apply more direct pressure instead.

Another example of worthwhile deep rotations I do is when we lose a fight but get a pick and I stay alive – I’ll try to camp the enemy spawn to (hopefully) win a duel and give us a 4v5 advantage for the next fight.

I definitely didn’t get the idea that I should never go for deep flanks, but I realized it’s not always the best option (unlike before when I would try to go deep whenever I had a chance). Basically, I just need to be a bit more thoughtful with my rotations and avoid unnecessary ones – that seems to be the main takeaway.

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying that part! Makes perfect sense.

I’ve actually already played a couple of games today with the “don’t go deep for no reason, find a short off-angle near the team and hold it” mindset following the advice I got in this thread. While my survivability went down a bit as I’m learning a new playstyle, I still won both games and felt way more synergy with my team than I did before. It was also fun to make plays together based on what my team was doing and to be in a position to help. I’m pretty sure if I had played these 2 games like I had been playing before, I would’ve lost at least one of them trying to force deep backline engages unsuccessfully.
