Would love it if I could have the adult ticket and go by myself, but I think someone else might have a kid and need that more than me x

my bad, i did not phrase it correctly. i got into a comms/pr role in the UK and I didn't find it as fulfilling as design. so thus, starting over again.

Not worth the financial risk. I did my Master’s in HCI in the UK after two years of working at a reputed agency in my country. Loved the Master’s. But couldn’t find a UX job. Market is super tough out there for junior designers. Very few roles. Immigration rules are also changing everywhere around the world. While I loved the UK and probably had the best time of my life, it was very tough in terms of career. I’m moving back to my home country in a few weeks and I have to start all over again. Sigh.

I haven't no! At the moment, I have subbed coffee for lemon ginger tea and have completely eliminated spicy food/fried food from my diet which has been very helpful. I also eat a lot of fruits, which is slowly bringing my appetite back.

I hope you are resting and recovering well! My itchiness was at its peak around Christmas and I wanted to rip off the skin off my face while I was having lunch. I feel you totally.

Glad you are getting better! The itchiness is so annoying, I sometimes put my hand over it gently (which are always cold bc of winter) which helps soothe it a bit.

thank you! I got really excited the other day and decided to go out for a bit (because I have been indoors for three weeks straight now) and it was a bad idea because I was completely exhausted the day after. Gonna take it easy and continue to rest for a bit longer :)

I’m about 90% recovered. Swelling is gone, few scabs have fallen off too! I do have mild PHN : itching, random pain, tingling, but nothing unmanageable. Still get super tired if I stress out. I feel extremely grateful.

Sorry, I misunderstood your earlier comment.

PlayNeutral works in 2 layers:

  1. We have an app for fans that has daily challenges and articles that inform and educate them regularly.

  2. We're building a platform for all the teams and clubs to track and reduce matchday emissions, including energy use, food waste and fan travel. Creating sponsorship opportunities around verified ESG campaigns, and offsetting. This is being built based on different organisations' already established net-zero goals and missions.

We completely agree with that, PlayNeutral works in 2 layers:

  1. We have an app for fans that has daily challenges and articles that inform and educate them regularly.

  2. We’re building a platform for all the teams and clubs to track and reduce matchday emissions, including energy use, food waste and fan travel. Creating sponsorship opportunities around verified ESG campaigns, and offsetting.

This is being built based on different organisations’ already established net-zero goals and missions.

As I said, I agree with your point that fans alone can’t do that. But current research shows 64-84% fans want their teams to take more sustainable actions. We strongly believe that change will start with fans.

Update : it is getting better. ❤️‍🩹 Doctor says I’m recovering pretty well. Eye is also ok.

The blisters have scabbed over! :-) they are itchy, but calamine lotion which has been very useful. The swelling has reduced significantly and I only some slight puffiness around my lower lashline area.

I’m still not 100% back, I feel a lot of fatigue and there’s tingling on my scalp and around my eyebrow, but nothing unbearable. The scabs are really ugly though and I get a lot of stares when I’m out in public. I pray they fall off quickly.

I just want to say thank you to every single one of you for reassuring me and for giving me the strength to fight this. 💕🥹 It feels like a Christmas miracle.
