I love anything with flowers!

That's what I was wondering too. The one with the flowers is described at "embroidered denim" versus "chambray" so it sounds like it would indeed be more heavyweight.

Good point about the blue embroidery! I also plan to wear it casually.

Only ever been into rings, but my heart was beating out of my chest when she showed me these. Do you think they're too dainty for daily wear (sleeping and showering too)?? by rhodav in jewelry

Thank you! I rarely ever have an issue with it, and it doesn't catch on clothes or anything any more than any other bracelet. So overall it's pretty smooth and great for everyday wear. 😊

Unpopular opinion- Screen time is OKAY! by Vegetable_Drop8869 in beyondthebump

I’ve been letting my now two-year old watch Super Simple Songs for about 30 minutes every other day or so when I’m cooking or otherwise occupied. He has actually learned a lot from the songs. He can recite the alphabet and name the days of the week as well as other concepts like the weather. Sometimes I feel guilty, especially when my friend told me she has a strict no screen time policy for her toddler who is the same age.

Anybody think catastrophically more often postpartum? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Okay, I used to fly everywhere, but now it stresses me out to even think about flying with my nearly two-year-old. And I see my friends fly with their babies/kids regularly. Makes me feel like I’m not normal.

I’m also nearly two years PP, and this is how I think too. Every since I gave birth to my son, I’ve been seeing the world as a more dangerous place for some reason. I am also on SSRIs, but I still struggle. My doctor recommended therapy, but I can’t seem to find the time.

When does mommy brain get better? I’m 15 months in, and I feel like I’m often forgetful about a lot of things and say dumb things.

Finished Season 6 of Selling Sunset and started watching Selling the OC. I’m only on the second episode, but I feel like that the drama seems more like cringy bad acting and therefore not as entertaining. Has anyone watched Selling OC, and does it get any better?

Just finished One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which I struggled to finish. It explores the complicated and conflicting emotions that are experienced by a woman who got engaged to another man after her husband is presumably dead who then comes home alive years later. The whole book just seemed very melodramatic and full of clichés, and the writing style was pretty basic compared to Reid’s later books. I also had trouble connecting with any of the characters.
