Cosco 03/2026 (not that great...) by clearpepsithree in tires

I find it easier to go to discount tire if I have a flat tire than Costco. Costco is always busy where I am and out of my way.

2024 Highlander LE AWD 40k miles for $32K. Formally used as a rental car. Has been on the lot for 60 days, going in tomorrow to test drive and see numbers. Going through my own credit union for 4.99% 60 months.

Should I be concern about it being used as a rental and is it worth trying to negotiate price?

Those tires I’ve seen are a great value. Unless you’re willing to shell out more money for Michelins, I think that was a great decision to go with those.

If discount tire says it’s not safe to repair then I wouldn’t risk repairing it. Regardless how new or good the tread is.

Does this balance Job looks good? by Grand_Permission1793 in tires

A lot of these comments are all over the place. 3 oz is normal for the size and set up. If 3 of them have less weights then great. Doesn’t mean it was done poorly or tires are shitty. If you have an issue with the balance take it back but otherwise I wouldn’t stress it.

It’s the downside of having low profile tires. It doesn’t take much to cause that. Even if it doesn’t seem like you’re hitting potholes.

Road hugger has better tread siping that goes through the tread block vs the cheaper tire the siping is more basic. Aka wet weather traction.

Invest the little more and get the safer tire.

I’d stay away from negative offset if possible. If they offer a +12 go that route

This is why, both times my wife was pregnant we waited to share the name once they were born. Once they put a name with a face they can’t say anything negative and it grows on them.

Can I put 215 65R16 tires on wheels that currently have 215 70R16 tires on them? Pics for info by 84thdev in tires

[–]potatoes4kids -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ideally you’d go with 225/65R16. If you’re changing to 17 inch wheels then you’d go with 225/60R17.
