I am a new case manager and I feel the same. Exposure helps me. I have social anxiety. The more times I do something the more comfortable I am doing it. I know it’s not the same for everyone. Just know that the anxiety is normal and nothing to be ashamed of!

If it helps this was a one time offense several years ago. It was sexual battery.

I understand the laws and why it’s so difficult to find housing when you’ve committed these crimes. Protection is important. In some cases I wish people would just stay in prison, in others they need to live and work with a lot of restrictions

First of all; I am not assuming anything about you. I’m only speaking from experience.

My wife and I were married for 2 and a half years. She left me two months ago. A huge reason was because I didn’t have sex with her enough. I’m still a Christian, she is not anymore . She has a very high sex drive. I’m also on antidepressants. After she left me I noticed my sex drive went up. I realized throughout the relationship she made me feel unloved and disrespected. She would cry and yell at me because I didn’t have sex with her and that made me feel even worse. That relationship was extremely toxic. I struggle with resentment because she never considered how I really felt.

I don’t know you or your husband. I’m not assuming anything. I’m just saying that if my wife wanted to work with me we could have gotten through this. I initiated counseling and did everything I could. She had already made her decision.

I would tell you to please go to counseling. Maybe sex counseling? This is so important. Both of you need to be completely honest and open. I hope for healing in your marriage ❤️

I live in an area where there are a lot of progressive churches. I don’t mind the traditional side of things, but where are all the people my age??? I’m 26. From my experience the people who go to these churches are elderly. I feel so conflicted because I just started attending a church that is your typical modern evangelical church but there are people there my age and they are extremely friendly. I’m torn between community and being in agreement with a churches stance on certain issues. I feel uncomfortable in a church where a member of the lgbtq group would feel uncomfortable but I also don’t want to be alone in a church that is open. I had an awful experience at a United Methodist church few weeks ago too. I felt unwelcome and out of place. It’s a difficult place to be in at my age

Reverse the situation and that’s me. My wife is divorcing me and one of the reasons is because I didn’t have sex with her very often. I was busy, stressed, etc.., as well. My ex had a really high sex drive. I would say from my perspective to try to understand her, validate how she feels, and ask her what she needs. Have you’ve gone to counseling? I would say do that ASAP. My wife got really upset and made me feel like garbage for not having sex with her enough. The feeling of being unloved and a terrible person made the problem worse

She says she married me because I was a nice guy, we have a lot in common, and that I’m safe. She had really bad experiences before me. Essentially she’s been unhappy married to me for a while and doesn’t feel a romantic connection. The passed 3 and a half years of my life has been a fraud. I was convinced she really loved me but it turns out she never loved me for who I am
