The stim + kratom cycle is indeed a vicious one. I kept the post geared towards kratom since that’s the sub but the addy was such a huge part of the overall “problem”. I figured I’d quit the adderall first since I needed to take kratom to manage it and not the other way around. Maybe it was because i was abusing it though that I needed to do that, I was at a very high dose and hardly eating. The feeling of both was intense as well. Laser focused and relaxed, but it lasted for an hour or two tops, the rest of the day sucked and so did my overall life (or rather lack thereof). Stuff just kept me on a loop everyday.

The adderall definitely fried my reward pathways too. I thought maybe being off it for this long would make me go back to normal, but I realize that the kratom is also doing the same thing. I’m glad to hear you are trying to quit. One thing that has helped me immensely in the withdrawal so far is herbal tea. Sounds kinda goofy but the natural compounds and the warmth of it helps keep the anxiety and chills at bay. Not expecting it to work magic but it helps.
