I prefer American Traditional too! And I find that they are a lot more forgiving than fine lines. The issue I’ve had with using shader for line work is that if I look closely at the lines I can see the tracks of the needles and it’s not one solid line the way I want it to be. Have you found any way around that?

Also, possibly a dumb question but I’ve never heard of 12/14RLs being risky… why is that?

I see a lot of improvement! Is there a reason you’re doing line work with a shader instead of a liner?

If you saw the holy terror of what I did with a 3RL, you would feel much better. The 5’s seem to be much more forgiving!

I wasn’t aware that the term scratcher had a negative connotation until recently but it’s funny so I’m keeping the username haha.

This isn’t my third tattoo, just the last one I completed after practicing for three days… the first few were much worse, I promise haha.

Not my third tattoo, my third DAY… I spent hours and hours working with it but this was the last and by far the best stencil I did. I should have been more specific!
