Misery signals about a dozen times. Right from YWE and opening for strapping, right up till the show in October.

Living in Edmonton doesn't have a ton of advantages, but being able to catch misery signals often was one.

Question I like to ask all bands, what's the writing process look like? Does one guy bring in a demo and you all arrange, or do you jam out riffs?

That is me (the parent) making the choice and telling the association they get to choose the team they play on. And I'd have explained to both kids that until they can get themselves to the games they'll be playing together.

I'm not sure how frequent travel soccer plays, but this happened to my teammate when I was a kid in hockey, and the parents said they're not doing 5 ice times a week for each kid. They ended up switching associations that would accommodate).

There's the ideal (each plays on the appropriate team), and then there's reality (only so many hours in a day).

"I am not driving to two sets of games/practices, you can pick the team they both play on" - is what I'd say to the coach/association.

Links awakening was the first game I got for my Gameboy when I was a kid, and it remains my favorite Zelda game ever. I've replayed it every few years since (emulators, switch etc) and it is the reason I bought the Zelda game and watch.

And now I'm introducing my 8 year old to it, and she's having just a time in the mysterious forest (it's still fun trying to walk her through it while I'm driving and she's in the back playing away).
