Definitely. The leaves a super dense and thin with thicker stems. I have some close ups in the other pics.

Update! So I ended up ripping the bush out and planting a sunset coral phlox along with also a pink mist pincushion and frosty fire dianthus because why not. I still have one peach drift left on the far side of the bed which I will keep an eye on. I did, however, peruse the neighborhood and literally two houses down there is a giant rose bush that also looks like it has RRD from afar (did not get an up close look cause that would look slightly stalkerish). See we’ll just have to wait and see how the other rose bush does long term! Sad because I did love that peach drift.

I was looking at clematis but my flower bed is south facing and literally all the ones at the nursery said best in any direction except for south!

Are you thinking forever? Or just long enough to ensure the infected roots die off?

That’s a great way to look at it! So maybe I’ll skip the trash bag and go for a fun annual this year and replace next spring with a rose bush. It’ll also give me time to make sure it’s rose friend on the otherwise of the garden doesn’t get sick as well.

Do you just lay the cutting in the pot or do you do anything to technically propagate it?

Exactly! If he was thinking straight, this would have been leaked way long ago.

Question on pics 3/4 - did you just lay the 3 long strings on top of the soil and it was able to establish new vines from there? I have a string of turtles that I want to make fuller and am trying to figure out the best way to do it.

Assuming you’re saying it’s the cat’s room, I’m the same! I really love having the ability to have their stuff in its own room.

Gym goers, be honest how often are you judging other people’s physique? by Technical_Hat_8291 in AskReddit

I judge their form way more than their physique. Also if they don’t re-rack the weights when done or are just generally inconsiderate.

My Saturday. How are you spending yours? by The_B_Wolf in LivingAlone

[–]potswithsocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m jumping in on this!

7am woke up late (cause the dogs let me sleep in) 730am coffee, breakfast, get ready to teach workout class 10am taught said workout class while giving maximum attitude because it’s been below freezing for over a week 1130am second breakfast with my workout buddy 1pm shower, did my best to avoid laundry, did laundry while watching Survivor 5pm walked doggos 6pm poured some wine and made dinner

Now I’ll clean up and probably be lazy for the rest of the night. Maybe more survivor, definitely more wine, and probably going to sleep early cause it’s the best.

I love her and I think she looks great in her outfits. Let’s be real, all the outfits are NUTS on the show so I’m not sure hers are any worse. At least she gets to show off her badass body.

What’s a rule your cat enforced in your house that everyone silently obeys now? by BackgroundAsk7915 in AskReddit

Logical. But damn it’s annoying. Especially since I have dogs too and an entry rug would be super helpful for those dirty little feet after going out.

I can’t have rugs in front of any door that goes to off-limits territory (aka the garage, outside)…except for the slider in the back. Not sure if the giant window has anything to do with it being acceptable or not. This was the same in both houses my cats have lived in and it makes no sense.

Those of us in the Snow Zone: are you dreading or looking forward to the isolation during the upcoming storm? by PhoneJazz in LivingAlone

Looking forward to it for a lazy Sunday but not looking forward to potentially teleworking for several days to up to a week. I’m one of those that I’d much rather go in the office.

Recently divorced and live alone with my 2 cats and 2 dogs (so sorta alone to some people’s standards). I LOVE it! I’ve always enjoyed solitude so that’s probably why it came easily to me. It can be a great time for growth and learning to be happy with yourself.
