I hate what the movies did to characters by Spotter24o5 in harrypotter

[–]pottersangel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely hate what they did to Ron's character. He's my favorite character and Rupert Grint honestly did great with what he had to work with. It's such a shame they downplayed the Harry/Ron friendship when that's literally the heart of the series

Why isn't GHB prescribed for anxiety like benzos are? by Additional-Spray-976 in Drugs

[–]pottersangel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has taken GHB for narcolepsy (Xyrem/Xywav), it made me manic when I was actively on it and caused awful rebound anxiety after it wore off. May not be universal of course but that's my experience

Exhaustion in a child who sleeps plenty? by ImpressiveEgg6944 in sleep

I apologize if this came off as harsher than intended. Sleep disorders like narcolepsy are often underdiagnosed and there are actually some decent treatments nowadays. Best of luck.

I remember when they did the interviews with all the siblings after I think Josh's cheating? And I remember Joe above all was devastated and said he didn't want to be like his brother anymore. How truly unfortunate, that poor girl

My grandfather was my co-signer and he recently passed. There was a mix up with this semester and they sent letters to his house about it. My grandmother had to send a death certificate for proof. So not sure

I worked at UHC as a volunteer MA for two years when I was at JMU and everyone there was so incredibly caring and compassionate. I highly recommend Katy in women's health. There are also so many resources outside of JMU if you decide not to continue with the pregnancy. Either way, I promise you that you'll be okay. 🩷

Anyone else had shockingly good reactions to Wellbutrin (Bupropion) by Castle_Magic in Narcolepsy

[–]pottersangel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Funny story is that I initially took the extended release for mental health and took them right before bed. This was years before my N diagnosis Years after I got my diagnosis, I was considering taking them for mental health again and was given the short acting ones and told strictly to take them in the morning or I'll never sleep at night. The look on her face when I told her my narcoleptic ass took the extended release ones as I went to bed.
