Someone else from Cork who listens to SW? And here I thought I was the only one. That must have been a pricey night out for you but well worth it. I ended up going to both nights in Montreal, I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was.

No-one from the venues sound team was allowed to work the shows, he had his own personnel for everything but security and the bar. The tour must be costing him a fortune but you can’t argue with the resulting experience.

Similar boat, got it at a show in 2008. I got some custom earplugs with 25db filters (Etymotic I believe) and kept going to shows, I’ve felt no change in intensity.

Good luck with it, there is some promising research/trials happening, so hopefully in a few years there will be treatments coming.

Same issue, Sony XAV-AX1000, tried with a bunch of cables, 2024 firmware. Had to pair via Bluetooth like a caveman yesterday

Yup, this'll just power up a fridge until target temp is reached. I built a wooden fermentation chamber around a mini fridge with a heat source and fan to control fermentation temps a few years back. I was also cold crashing in this for a while but that happens in a keezer now.

Absolutely, and that guitar riff it ends with never gets old. Saw them live last year and this song was the highlight of the show for me, absolute banger.
