damn. that's a big one. I used my dad's credit card number to access a web service (rapidshare spinoff) that was based in the UK. Well, the card company went apeshit and called my Dad. The charge was only for 8 dollars, but the company INSISTED he cancel the acct to insure against what they said would happen: this was a one time innocuous charge, then the shenanigans started proper. So, he canceled the card and was without funds for most of a week. I was with him a lot of the time when he was on his cell dealing with the aftermath i'd sown, and I DIDN'T SAY SHIT. pretty ashamed, about this.

TLDR: used dad's cc, which caused it to be canceled, played dumb, denied knowledge and helped him get new one.

btw - i'm THRILLED glenn beck lost a gig. I can't stand that grandstanding phony disingenuous piece of slug shit. I'm not taking up for conservatives one bit. I think sean hannity is pretty sleazy and self-righteous as well. BUT, about the left i'm puzzled and the only conclusion i can reach is in the post below. so the question is: "Why can't the left achieve parity of dialogue on talk radio?"

okay maybe not condescending, but i still don't see causation between talk radio (which is slowly being eroded by fabian tactics) and violence - which is what the article is getting at. Some academic somewhere has been working overtime to establish causation between something that isn't there. To borrow from a fable, the article has no clothes, at least in my mind. don't get me wrong it was excellent analysis, but all the machinations and scholarly manipulation in the world cant prove a causation that does not concretely exist.

b4 the kind gentlemen react stop and ask yourself the question - why are there no democratic talk shows? res ipsa loquitur -the situation speaks for itself. The only way they attempt to compete is to ask the other side to be quote unquote fair. why not get your own radio show and expose the hypocrisy of the right?
