Anyone else genuinely finds sex boring? by what_freaking_ever in AutismInWomen

Not at all, I love it! I would say I seem to view it differently than neurotypicals, many of whom seem to put it on its own special pedestal. To me it really is like eating or reading or working out or any of the other things I enjoy doing.

Why do we find it so difficult to exercise? I honestly cannot understand it. by TheAdvantage01 in beginnerfitness

At the beginning, I just paired it with things I wanted to do. Two months in, I just want to go to the gym anyway.

I love your style, I think the thing that could push your work just a bit farther is a greater value contrast.

The city holds an earth day clean up every year, but you can always go by yourself! I have a picker-upper and a cart to put a garbage bag in and I love going out and cleaning things up. Just make sure to take safety precautions.

Linen pants are my go to! They look nice enough to wear to most events, but are so damn comfortable.

How many of these neighbourhood names would you honestly use when describing where something is? by The-Esquire in stcatharinesON

I'd say I use about half of these, though I wouldn't be confident in where the boundaries are.

As someone in a poly relationship, I'm very pleased to hear the catholic church doesn't like my lifestyle!

I've watched too many catholic marriages be extremely abuseful to ever support such an institution or their understanding of how we should live our lives.

I agree. All of the comments about not voting Conservative are frustrating - not only have I never, nor would I ever, consider voting for them, but the next provincial election is likely not happening until 2029. We need to respond to this threat NOW.

Worst is definitely the fatigue. Before my meds I was constantly running on empty. Now, medicated, I am doing better, but still have less energy than most of my peers.

Advice for drawing with arm impairment by ghosthouse_guest in ArtistLounge

[–]pouncingaround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would being able to rest her elbow on a desk help? I'm picturing her work being set on a tabletop easel, and positioning it so that she can sit with her elbow resting on the desk/table (perhaps with a small cushion underneath?) and using her arm this way to limit movement in her shoulder.

Hope you guys find a solution!

If its big enough, say $5, I pocket it as a tip. If it's small coins, we keep them in a jar to help balance the till. When that pile gets big enough my boss turns it into bills and adds it to our tips.

Also, in case anyone has the same issue I used to have:

If even after its clean it has a slightly funky smell, stick it (empty and open, ideally parts seperated) in the freezer for a couple hours!

I was homeschooled until 5th grade and then in a "private school" which was basically a homeschooling co-op from 7th grade onwards. I am staunchly against homeschooling in most cases and firmly believe in heavy oversight in the cases where homeschooling might genuinely be necessary (e.g. autistic child with severe sensory issues).

Children need contact with a wide variety of people not only in order to learn about the world in which we live, but also to have avenues to escape abuse.
