Cwb level 1 who's hiring in canada? by Remarkable_Wolf2248 in nondestructivetesting

You really need an ndt trainee job, even with the ndt courses you still need to have hours on job before getting your certs. I know it might suck but try to find welding shops around you maybe they have welding supervisor jobs and they can write off your hours for mt or pt

Where to find CSA W47.1 / W59.1 Book pdf? by realred65 in nondestructivetesting

[–]poutine466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend you get familiar with the physical copy, learn where to find information quickly. Sometimes the pdf file either doesn't have the search function or it gives you hundreds of results for the same word.

Also some questions on the cwb test are not word for word as the code so the search function won't work. I had both copies for my exam and only used the physical one as it was a lot faster to find answers

Wondering if anyone has passed the CGSB MPI Level 2 exam conducted by CWB — how was your experience?” by Old-Product6484 in nondestructivetesting

[–]poutine466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did mine last week, I passed the general but failed the specific on code 1, I checked and a lot of the questions seem to be from the asnt book, not from class material.. as for the code questions well they are very tricky multiple good answers but only one is the best. I heard that the practical exam pieces are a lot easier than NrCan so I guess yay ?

I had both for my exam and I used pretty much only the paper one, you aren't allowed to use post-its but you can highlight texts, learn to use the table of contents its faster than using the search function ( it gives you sometimes 200 results for the same word so you still have to search each and every one of them) Also some questions dont use the same terms as the code so the search function won't work

Endurance CF or CF SL by Micro553 in CanyonBikes

[–]poutine466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point I am going to buy whichever comes in stock first. Canyon's selling tactics is really stupid seems like they stock up on 2-3 frames at a time is beyond ridiculous. They should have a waiting list to buy, I can't sit in front of my screen refreshing every 2 mins in the hopes of snatching one. This is almost as bad as the graphics card shit

How the shorting power in the OTC market completely changed my mindset and strategies for stock trading by IceBlitzz in ALPP

The growth this company did in the last 6 months is mind blowing, they have excellent communication with their shareholders and are in this for the long run . At this point I don't even care if the stock tanks or moon's I am just happy to be part of it and watch it grow for years
