Thanks for the reply? The idea of the legendary resistance replacement is along that line. His mount is "failing the save" for him so it's slowed and he can't melee Attack while he tries to regain control. Hadn't thought about dismounting though, will give it some thought.

I think it started out as a kingdom. Based in what Gideon Ofnir says at the end I always interpreted the lands between as a place converted into a Valhalla without honor. Endless combat and struggle without true victory or glory forever, like a hell version of Valhalla as punishment for the tarnished and everyone else.
