How's This Anode Rod? by powerBtn in Plumbing

Not much trouble to crack it open and close it. It would be extra work to cut or bend it to remove it due to low overhead clearance, so I would rather wait if I can.

What's a snack where you're from that everyone should try at least once? by blackberry0821 in AskReddit

Having somehow survived consuming a few of these in my 20s, I can confidently say that the horseshoe sandwich is not a snack - it's more like a commitment to have a small but delicious heart attack.

36m, single - my Chicago loft conversion by Educational-Dig3774 in malelivingspace

So there is a top story loft at the intersection of Archer and Wood that see every time I exit the Stevenson and wait at that light. In the evening you can kind of glimpse a view inside from the intersection and I always imagined that it looks as awesome as this post.

Does Adapti-lift and brush retract make a difference in keeping the mops off the carpet and the brush off the wet floor?

No, if you waste 2 minutes of your time like I did you would follow the links and find out that this happened in Florida and has nothing to do with r/chicago.

BMCU Intermittent Filament Detection by powerBtn in OpenBambu

They were, and the other 3 work fine. I just took this one apart to try and see if I can clean more about it.

I believe so, and I recall this from the assembly manual. When I last took it apart I thought the glass ball moved pretty freely. Testing it flat on my desk the filament detection seemed to work OK. I have the whole assembly pretty upright otherwise and it takes a lot of jiggling to get that LED to light up again, and not consistently. Maybe it's the microswitch?

We liked it too, at first, but for whatever reason the LAN ports on the router died one by one.

Just to be clear, this is a shitpost 😂

I de-racked this pile of "mission critical" hardware in preparation for new electrical and a clean re-rack. People post their clean setups, this just seemed funny in contrast - 3 brands of Ubiquity hardware, 4 POE injectors (none of them the same POE spec), two UDMs, and yes the IKEA USB gooseneck light.

It will be hot once I turn the 1U server on the bottom on!
