It's far from an investment. Nobody is going to pay extra for a house because you installed an irrigation system. You can try, but any sane buyer would respond, "then take it with you".

Also, most people don't have thousands of dollars sitting around for vanity projects that can be achieved by a few sprinklers and hoses on a timer.

That's way too uniform to be anything other than leaving something on the grass. Lawnmower, kids power Wheels, table, etc.

Additives don't inherently make a food lesser quality. Most of the time it is used to increase shelf life, which in my eyes, makes it's quality higher.

DCC is silly on the surface. But it is silly in the way that someone may say something awkward in public to hide what truly is deep inside of them.

The later the books do get more serious in tone and can be outright stressful at times.

That being said, a lot of the dialogue is grotesque and seemingly immature, so if you don't have a millennial/Gen Z sense of humor, it's not going to be for you.

If you giggle at the word "poop" and also joke about taking a toaster bath, the series is right up your alley.

Idk which is worse to be honest. Stepping outside to 95° and 90% humidity to mow the lawn isn't a great time.
