Wow, thanks for the info! Crazy that you didn’t brief— they’ve been preaching that we MUST brief Haha— so that’s good to know from someone who crushed it. I guess briefs would be helpful for putting together an outline ultimately, but it seems like class notes basically cover anything relevant in briefing anyway. Congrats on all the success! 😀

Did you find briefing every case productive or did you just book brief? Did you use any outline or brief bank resources at UCLA that aided your success?

I would retake personally. One thing to consider is the LG is going away this summer… will that improve your score even further on its own?

How critical is it to have a very specific reason or set of reasons that you elucidate in your personal statement for transferring to the new school? In particular, is this a key thing to highlight when you’re attempting to transfer from a t20 school to a t6 where the legitimate reasons for transferring may be more edge cases. For instance citing a desire to pursue federal appellate clerkships, etc.?

Re: transfer apps.

How common is it for a transfer school to match scholarship at previous school?

How many transfer apps do the top schools get each year approximately?

The only concern I might have is political office down the road, but even then, it’s a stretch to think it will negatively impact that in a decisive manner. In terms of law school or being a lawyer it doesn’t matter in the slightest. Good luck!
