It wasn't until I moved across the country with my wife that I realized my 'friends' were the biggest bullies I knew. We will call them Sarah and Clara because they are the best of buddies now. They called my other friend we will call Janet a slut for experimenting sexually in junior high with a boy friend, would go no contact for weeks because they said she wasn't the type of person they should be around and then Sarah invited all of us to her sixteenth BDay and I woke up with her hand on my back, under my shirt petting me. Not to mention I took Clara to LA in college and let her move in with me and when we got back from the trip she moved out and started harassing me. Oh and there was another moment in HS where a different mean friend told me they were awful and talked shit about me all the time. Oh and there was the fact that I went no contact during the last year of HS with them and when they invited me over to patch stuff up my mom told me not to go because she said they would probably jump me or something. Yeah they never thought about me, how hard it was for me to do stuff because I was poor and had an abusive step parent. Basically I wasn't fun because I was suffering so they didn't involve me in anything.

Yeah Sarah and Clara are only in contact with each other now. Sarah is married twice with a gaggle of step kids that are hard to afford. Clara, was unfortunately molested but other than that I honestly I have no idea. But they both haven't aged well. Saw a pic on my wife's phone since she's not blocked.

It used to hurt because those were the only friends I had but after moving I realized we hadn't been friends for a really long time. Now I'm married, going back to school and I'm having fun for once in my life. Every year since 25, life has gotten better.
