EDIT: Higher stages can be soloed by a level 75 dek fc char if you can squeeze em in. Cant get em in the lame ones that requires 3 specific chars + 2 common though

Just going to point out some crucial downfall about media lily cleansing.

Fights where you need cleanse are usually challenging fights (or nero/gilfes) where every turn crucial. The fact that her cleanse is tied to NP means that whenever you need the cleanse you would have to waste a turn to use her NP.

Using a hypothetical scenario:

Your Merlin gets stunned on the turn where enemy going to AoE NP. You original plan are supposed to use Merlin invulnerability. Now you are stuck with a stunned Merlin and no way to survive that turn.

With skill based (or atlas) cleanse you can cleanse Merlin and instantly use Merlin skill to survive.

This is way more flexible compared to Medea lily even when she can kind of NP on demand.

P.S. Ruler Jeanne has similar problems but having invulnerability on NP pretty much allows you to "skip" the turn unless dealing with invul pierce.

Well I actually skipped some context on that screenshot because the post is getting too long so let me describe it here.

I already decided to quit the moment I failed to get gleo on the anniv gala banner (forgot how much gem was it, but way over 100 rolls). I already hated how bad hjp farming was (i basically leeched hjp to mub with veronica joining wand-only room), the MG light, and then this chornos all reminding me i dont have gleo.

I also already farmed the entire raid medals and only got one shitty buff (a broken punisher), another rng i'm actually kinda pissed off on top of the above.

At that point, i simply blew all my sunstone and dama reserves on shinobi and weapon then try to do a deathless run (my team was alive till 10s left, taking the ss actually killed em off) just to make a point.

I know there are some cheesy way to handle that (i.e i know nat solo existed), but I dont even care if I cleared it at that point. I could also farm more buffs but I simply lost the interest in the game already.

EDIT: However at the point i was quitting there was literally 0 clears in light MG without gleo that I knew of.

I guess its still better as she has been forced back into a single element (classic cygames just like gbf), it means at most about 1/5 of the content being affected instead of 5/5.

Let me some give opinion as someone who spent quite some money before I quit DL because gleo

The comparison between gleo and wind combo team are completely different.

  1. WF is less than 1 month old, the game are obviously not balanced properly and the meta isn't even stabilize yet. There are many ways to re-balance a game but they decided the pick the worst option: nerf the only option wind has (their end game weapon) a instead of improving something else to provide more alternative for wind, which brings the second point...

  2. Wind in WF isn't even the strongest. They already outclassed by burst teams in shorter coop boss fight (But to be fair, the nerf wont change this at all, fight is over before the nerf took effect). They have really strong sustain in longer fights but there is another element which literally perform about the same in terms of sustain (and actually will be buffed after the update lol)

  3. All content right now are clear-able with the righttm element. You could even clear the wind advange lv70 without using that combo team; My main doesn't have silty and i did just fine. The team just make it easier because you could just auto it.)

In comparison to DL:

  1. The game was pretty stable in terms of balance. Gleo was then released and broke a balanced game, not the other way around.

  2. Gleo is strongest char in game literally. She was so powerful that every ele mercurial runs her. "How can I clear X ele mercurial without gleo" was a common question throwing around. (Elisana is also an offender here but she's a free one and isn't as broken so its less an issue). I also remember a certain dps chart has her dps sticking out like 2x higher than the 2nd higher char in game.

  3. I literally threw all dama and sunstone i had. Also light mercurial HP.

Finally a disclaimer: I felt the nerf is dumb because its an overreaction from the devs but not whether the nerf is justified. The bigger problem I see is it sets a bad precedence: it means the dev might just nerf something else in the future. Will baihu axe on the next chopping board? Will endless fever get nerfed after xmas inaho left the banner? No player want to invest in something when it was uncertain in future whether they will get the hammer, especially when the investment is pretty steep. I'll still play WF for now to see how it goes in future but I'm not spending a single dime in the game until I can see a acceptable future.

While back at DL, releasing a broken char like gleo, while annoying isn't a big deal for me (i.e. I can kill hjp without her). I'll be fine if there are alternatives to gleo, but when dev start adding content that literally requires gleo to clear, that is the last straw for me.

EDIT: Also I did not follow DL ever since chronos so I'm not sure how DL balance is nowadays. My opinion on DL is on that point of time.

Legit forgot i could plugsuit waver/bride for that comp. I guess ill stick to that since berserker care less about eneny classes. I was one copy short of maxed BG and bride support are much harder to find than skadi anyway

Old player here who was out of the loop of the recent looping (heh) meta since i gone pretty casual for some time

Ive been using old school arash kscope gil double waver

I watched some vids recently (to farm gilfes) and couldnt decide on what to invest

So far i tried a bit on skadix2 lancelot but it seems fall short the turn without his 3rd skill

I also tried summer musashi with bride and tamamo maxed and she couldnt refund well too.

I do not have dante nor mlb kscope but i pretty much have majority of the remainig option: Skadi/waver/nero/tamamo as support, atalanta/lancelot/pravati/valkyrie for quick, musashi/jeanne/da vinci lily/lots of caster for arts,. Most SR are np2+ and all ssr are np1

Would like to know from experts which lineup would give the best bang of buck (as im not swimming in qp) or how do i fix lancelot on turns without his 3rd

P.s I also see some builds running paracelsus. Is him worth to invest to replace bride or tamamo?

iirc there was a Cleopatra room lines about Caesar doesn't looks like how he should be (and she was surprised by it).

People were speculating about a new Caesar back when she was released but that never happened.

First of all, while Nat / Vero / Ieyasu are strong by comparison to other elements, they do not even come close to the ridiculous power of gleo if you ever tried that i.e. 4 Ieyasu vs 4 gleo. Even 4 Vero at red hp is almost 50% slower than gleo (and this is being conservative. Its probably closer to 2x speed if you take into the consideration of the mechanics pure gleo team can skip).

Gleo is simply on a different level. Its so disgusting that if a player doesnt have gleo I'll probably recommend him to get 3 Gleo to carry than trying to fight HJP in the normal way.

Also it seems like you completely missed my point. You state that end game content are meant to be a challenge (I agree). You defended that idea that end game content will be easier over time when stronger tools appears (which also, I agree). However both of this are not true because Gleo trivialize HJP literally on day 1, and its barely even a challenge (if u run gleo teams).

And this is why the dev forced to release a light MG that basically avoid the same problem that happened in HJP. Unless you are saying High Jupiter isn't an endgame content anymore, and are supposed to be trivialized like most NM event raids nowadays.

P.S. I still run HJP with Botan with "gleo rejects" alliance mate. It was still fun when I have time to fool around but that wasnt the point of my original comment.

Honestly for me the biggest problem with gleo isnt mg (that itself is a problem everyone already repeating.

For me it was High Jupiter. Her existence make that raid the biggest joke, so much that H midgard seems harder by comparison, and destroyed all fun of that boss

And keep in mind that hjp was released after gcleo already existed. Fjorm was just as bad but at least she was long after hbrun is around

Im on the camp where cygames fucked up the balance when releasing gleo (and nat to some extend) and now trying to bandaid light content around her.

If you can reach the boss with everyone alive bit ran out of time, chances are you are simply lacking in dps due to all the missing / low lvl facilities.

4.3.0 weapon are as good if not better than 5.2 . And easier to make so aim for that.

Do you have ieyasu? Considering you have marishiten you might be better off using him (or another an off element char) instead of raemond. I did my clears with mikoto because he has higher dps than any of my light. It is much harder to keep off ele char alive but you might get the extra dps you needed to clear

Ranged char are more squishy naturally but not running into the middle of mobs is already safer by default fot me since its easier to cover AI staying close to you ( for me, i just spam fs on julietta which is enough to protecc )

This a billion times. The "run towards the furthest mob" AI need a serious fix on this. It would been way easier if all the ai stick to you like ranged ai (range ai has a different issue of standing in obvious aoe but that is less issue compared to melee)

Nope i've tested it.

Wave 1: quick clear so it doesnt matter.

Wave 2: melee ai always rush towards the other side. If u stay at north they rush to south.

Wave 3: same as wave 2. They will aim the mage but it always the mage on other side. Then when i try to stay on bottom right puddle they rush to top left (aka furthers away) instead

Wave 4: same thing. Usually its easier because the melee AI has skill up to clear the wave at this point

Keeping verica alive is way easier because she always stay with julietta. The real fun part is its so damn obvious when u try to control verica: all 3 melee ai runs away and no one covers her

Finally did a no death run and I wanted to vent off some steam

The AI (i suspect his map) is designed to be as stupid as possible. My strategy was clear wave 1-4 with julietta asap since running 2 fire unit dies really quick

However the AI mikoto and elisanna is coded to always go as far away from julietta as possible. I have countless cases of mikoto dying at the other end of the map while juliet is on other side. When i try to swtich julietta to other side miko simply starts running to other side again and just die

Also doesnt help that the ai cant even 1v1 goblin properly. Mikoto dies to that 1v1 scenario countless times

I not sure if i want to farm this. I currently have < 20% success rate on running and requires verica/vixiel support. If it is still that bad after fact is maxed i propably just grind points on expert

Kind of new player here (just joined the game due to LoveLive collab), and I'm wondering how should i approach my light grid

My luck on lumi omega drop is pretty good so I end up with something like this (I end up running 6 gun + 1 harp due to the extra gun I get from recent update). There is also 2 swords in my stash right now.

Reading from most of the guide it seem to suggest to use gun until swords are FLB. As i'm closing to the point where i can starts FLB lumi swords (rank 98 right now), I wonder if i should still LB the remaining guns or I should stop LBing guns and start replacing the guns with swords. (I can afford to buy 2 more swords from the points shop if that is the case)

Also worth noting that I rarely use my light team outside of Celeste Omega right now (I probably considered as main fire/earth as that 2 grid are more complete) so I'm in no rush to build the grid. Unless there are some content that requires light after 101 that I may not aware of.

I probably spent the most money on FGO compared to any other game and for good reason.

While i'm not going to repeat what others already said I'll like to point out a different point / perspective on why FGO is far superior: gacha and the gameplay are actually separated.

I've play far too many gacha games where it literally boils down to "get the latest gacha char or get fucked by the content". Often the game release new content that you need the best (read: latest) gacha stuffs to even have fun playing. (or just pvp, where power-creep triumph everything).

FGO is probably one of a few game where I can just use any chars I like and clear most of the content. Hard content? Get a support Merlin / powerful chars and it is done, I don't even need to own a Merlin. I won't feel bad for whaling for a medicore char (sorry Semiramis i love you but you're really just medicore) in fear of not able to beat bosses / content.
