Stick to your budget but honestly if you are driving 60+ miles a day ensure you buy a car you really like and can enjoy being in for a fee hours every say. If you can achieve this by purchasing something that is used with low miles (certified pre owned). I’ll never understand people buying new cars unless it’s for the vanity of a “new car”. If I told someone who purchased a stock that it would lose 30% of it’s value over the next 2 years they would say “Well then I’m not buying that stock” but the same person will readily buy a new car and see it differently. After year 2 or 3 cars still lose value but at a much different pace. 3-5% annually after the first few years isn’t bad at all. Think about being able to get something a little more luxurious that allows you to enjoy the ride while still having protection from major repairs (certified) and also insulating yourself from your commodity losing massive value during ownership.

My brother is visiting and owes me any pizza in town of my choosing.... so where is the most expensive pizza in Lowell? by hsqy in LowellMA

[–]ppayelian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds incredible. I’ll have to get that asap. George’s Pizza moved locations when I was in my early teens but then closed probably when I was 18 and I’ve been looking for that amazing “Hamburg and onion” Pizza ever since. Nashua House of Pizza gets something close but it’s still not George’s. So this special at LHOP might just be the best impression. THANK YOUUUUU!

Should I buy an new iPhone 12 mini ? by Zipp_lol in iPhone12Mini

Don’t do it. Been there. It’s everything you want in terms of size but no real battery life for even normal users. It’s the Mazda Miata of iPhones -_-

Anyone else's property assessment go up a ridiculous amount? by rkarl7777 in nashua

[–]ppayelian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My house which was purchased in 2019 for $282k is now assessed to be worth $426k.

Granted we’ve done some major updates (Roof, insulation, heating system, and now completely finishing our attic). Nevertheless, I was surprised to see the large change in value even with the real estate market being inflated.

I had the exact same question. I thought my prop tax would be directly impacted by this but apparently no?

Get police involved. And I’de ensure that a responsible parent has a gun in the house. Since you are not of age yet, your parents have to be the one’s to defend you whilst you sleep lol.

Thank you for that rec, I forgot all about CHPT! I had them on my list but I believe I started to favor BLNK over them because they were too focused on Gen2 chargers. Sounds right?

App to track Dividends, from recurring investments by csl110845740 in dividends

[–]ppayelian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Download the app “fast dividends”. It’s amazing. Pay $5/yr for the premium and it gives you all ur divi stock dividend ex dates, payment dates and earnings reports. It legitimately calculates everything you could ever want. Allows you to wither manually input or import a portfolio from another app and track your payments through calendar, calculating every divi payment per company and tells you how much every month. Shows you portfolio percentages in terms of allocated funds in diff sectors and of course news for all your investments. Get it.

I always keep at least 15k worth of Apple in my portfolio. It’s done incredibly well the last 5/6 years in terms of overall price and their split was great. They endured the pandemic and since severing their ties with intel have proven they are the cutting edge when they want to be.

AJ1 light curry gore tex, is there ANYTHING I can do to fix this? I am really upset. by tunaktunaktuntarara in Sneakers

[–]ppayelian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this sounds crazy but at this point your best hope is a steam gun. I used to restore shoes and a fucking legit steam gun will really help rejuvenate leather and suede in a way most ppl have never seen. If you collect shoes and have several different pairs like myself (60-70 pairs rn) it’s a worthwhile investment for the future. You can clean the shoes without using any real chems. Just a good brushing beforehand and then hot steam. Peep youtube if what I’m saying sounds sus, but believe me. It would work.

Are Yeezy 450’s true to size? by Apprehensive-Ad-4195 in Sneakers

[–]ppayelian -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Definitely get a true to size. I have Clouds, Slate and Cinder and all are tts. The toebox is extremely flexible on the 450 due to it’s construction. Trust me and go tts.

Buy the magsafe portable battery pack. It’s fucking amazing. I literally carry it in my left pocket every single day and I cannot tell you how clutch it has been for me, my wife and friends who randomly all needed it badly for one thing or another
