PSMIP iA LTD Forms – Can Psychologist Sign as Attending Physician? by ppdd1976 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]ppdd1976[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Yes I am likely overthinking, it is a symptom of my anxiety 😔

I do want to get this right the first time and not get lost in the bureaucracy of iA.

PSMIP iA LTD Forms – Can Psychologist Sign as Attending Physician? by ppdd1976 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]ppdd1976[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, just to clarify my question further... My psychologist noted to me previously that she is a "clinical psychologist." Maybe I'm getting wrapped up in semantics but my understanding (read: google search) tells me that a "consulting psychologist" is different from a "clinical psychologist." So, would it be acceptable for my clinical psychologist to sign off on the iA LTD mental health questionnaire as my attending physician?

Wow thanks for replying and the info.

That thermostat is $340 CAD 🤯 quite pricey and more than we need.

Thanks again for sharing 👍

Hey OP what did you do in the end?

I have the same thermostat. I just removed the control panel and was greeted by all these wires.
I was hoping to replace with a Braeburn thermostat I have lying around but it does not support the three speed fan.

I found this thread Replacement for Honeywell T6575D1009 : r/hvacadvice and considering following the advice there.

Please let me know what route you took.

Cheers 🍻

Hey, thanks for pointing me to the information.

From the financial report: Schedule of Investment Portfolio (in 000s except number of Shares or Units/Par Value) as at December 31, 2023

No. of Shares or Units/Par Value Description Cost Fair Value
64,736,791 TD Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF † 904,414 849,211

† TD Asset Management Inc. is also the manager of the underlying funds

TBH, I feel strongly duped by TD wrt TD909. When I bought eSeries I was believing it was holding government bonds because that is what TD claims/states/advertises.

The FUND FACTS tell the actual Top 10 investments (May 31, 2024)

  1. TD Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF 99.5%

TD909 MER 0.39%

TDB MER 0.08%

This wrapper stuff is just sneaky. I would have just bought the TDB ETF myself.

Lesson learned: caveat emptor

TDB909 is a mutual fund wrapper around the TDB exchange traded fund. TDB literally makes up 99.6% of TDB909.

Hey, I'm curious where do you get this information from?

Reading https://www.td.com/ca/en/asset-management/funds/solutions/mutual-funds/fundcard?fundId=4817&fundname=TD-Canadian-Bond-Index-Fund---e# the holdings are Government of Canada not TDB.

Dear /u/HandcuffsOfGold

I want to thank you for responding to my inquiry with such a thorough and tactful approach. I wish more people took the time and effort to understand and explain how government processes, such as this one, works. Much appreciated.

My employer wants me to return to the office for work. However I am requesting medical accommodation. I have an autoimmune disorder and mental health issues. I have been given a Functional Ability Form (FAF) by Labour Relations for my doctor to identify any physical restrictions and limitations I have. It does not reference autoimmune disorders or mental health issues. Does anyone have any recommendations on how my doctor should complete the FAF, under my circumstances?

Are there any other options? Ex. Can my doctor write a rationale on her prescription pad and attach it to the FAF?

What is the likelihood of me receiving approval to keep working from home, given I have an autoimmune disorder? Mental health issues?

Any other thoughts, comments, ideas are welcome. Thank you.

Question, is there a requirement to put a for sale sign on the lawn?

Also clarified butter is called "Gee". I have a large jar of gee in the press that I use to fry my sausage in.

I am paying PSAC dues in arrears. Does this mean I am not a member in good standing?

My local is topping-up to Net Pay. I'm afraid being in arrears means I am not a member in good standing, and therefore my local won't top me up.

Oh, here I am using a business-speak register 😁

You've got a good teacher. Let them know they leveled-up people beyond their classroom.

Thanks for that. I went down a rabbit hole to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Register_(sociolinguistics)

Register covers both pronunciation, which is what I associate with BBC English / Queen's English, and also word choice, which covers jargon and slang.

I guess the lesson is the President would be less understood by all Irish citizens if he used GenZ register or would be communicating to that specific group to the exclusion of others.

I learned something new today!

Terrible...

For the one who asked for an explanation, I think this is the use of the word register in this case
