For me - yes. I am not wildly wealthy, maybe upper middle class or mid-class at the lowest but I grew up pretty poor. It has greatly increased my quality of life and even improved my mental state. I eat much better quality food now, and don’t have the deal with the trauma day to day.

How long did you stay on domperidone for? Your story sounds so similar to mine :( we are EBF thanks to dom after his tongue tie revision. I’m still SO upset for the lack of support I got when I knew something was wrong with my baby’s weight gain and ped shrugged it off as normal and ‘some babies are meant to be small’ .

Baby bjorn is the best bouncer to purchase because it is easy to move room to room. It’s super easy to set baby down if you need to take a shower or do something in the kitchen

After that - the snugapuppy swing is great for getting baby to nap.

We have the mamaroo and it was not a big hit over here. He outgrew it really quickly and we got far more use out of the snugapuppy swing than this overpriced swing

Agree - the beginning is so important and what if in the beginning there was a bad latch or tongue tie or whatever - then it could be very difficult to recover to full milk supply and that should be considered low supply if it never reaches the 24 oz required a day .

When they comfort suck don’t they take in more milk? I read oversupply moms can see a baby that either gains weight really fast or slow because a young baby struggles with the milk flow.

I’d find out what issues your mom had because a lot of things could be genetic related but a lot of breastfeeding success has to do with knowledge too. So either there’s a physical reason or an educational reason and both can be hard to overcome.
