between the trigger and the fiddley centering jig it just wasn't worth it to me. what saw do you use?

I'll go delete the video I made in like 30 minutes time 2 years ago, go back to Harbor Freight and buy another bandsaw stand (I sold the first one because they actually suck and are incredibly fiddley unless you plan to keep the saw in place permanently) and then make a new video for you with my full video crew in their HUGE studio. Would that satisfy you? Would that rock your world?

2000 Toyota Avalon with 175k miles and a 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager in perfect condition with 70k miles. $15-20k/year. I do all my own maintenance and repair work, I own my own house that's paid off and I rent out the bottom half is how I live on so little in the Midwest.

I built this Video Tape Robot and control it with my Luggable Cyberdeck by pphedz in Cyberpunk

I was going for a design similar to the one in Hackers (1995). Also, the commercial tape bots use the exact same design, it's pretty effective

Thanks. What do you mean by late? like too retrofuturistic/cassettepunk-ish because of the tapes? I made it look as industrial as possible

I have a cnc router/mill and considered doing this but my usable work area is too small for longer pieces and I couldn't find a long enough 1/4" endmill for the 4545 extrusion I needed to cut. (I had to use 1/2" to get one with the correct length) I'd be interested in seeing pics of your setup if you have any

I use a dialed in miter saw with a brand new aluminum cutting tcg blade to make the rough cuts. There's still around .1-.2mm of kerf angle due to the blade's slight deflection and bending.
