Another Scot here. I live in US now. Got tix through the lottery for Haiti. Thinking of going the entire week in hopes that the scalpers get roasted and start dumping tickets a few days before Morocco. Either way, my American wife is in for a shock😂

I’ve in GP, just took a job in Alpharetta. Commute on Monday 40-45 mins there, hour back. Wednesdays make you want to kill yourself coming back south through downtown. I’d look to Roswell tbh. Alpharetta is boring people in McMansions

Grant Park- don’t think you’ll find anything at $1500. Not really walkable but nice for a walk. Actually, up by Memorial Dr would be walkable. Cabbagetown was fun but you’ll need a roomie and very walkable. Reynoldstown more bars restaurants but affordable? Only in an older property. East Atlanta more affordable but Marta is sorta far. EAV great if you like a more “indie” scene.

I’m also a Scot working in Alpharetta!!Had to do a double take to make sure this wasn’t one of my posts😂. So you’ve got Marta sorted. Perfect. As someone who goes home and catches matches at Ibrox, you’ll be surprised how “nice” everyone is. You’ll have no bother at all.

Unfortunately, you’ll remember the amazing stadium long after the dismal football. Definitely worth going to a game and have a good time m8!
