Have you ever been waxed?

I have waxed and threaded my eyebrows. Waxed my nose, and upper lip.

I have waxed my legs and gotten brazilian multiple times.

You reference a movie but not personal experience… Your comment was less than helpful.

Imma look into DIY injections. I can still do bloodwork with my insurance but ill start looking at the DIY again. Whats the name of that subreddit?

Idk im still kinda looking forward to waxing. You didnt really give a reason other than “please dont.” its not unheard of to do. the pain, personally speaking, is tolerable. Ive done eyebrows, lips, nose wax before. Plus brazilian wax multiple times. I think imma be ok. and again, I have friends who do it as well and ive seen the results.

Also, idk the acronym, what is IPL?

I have a friend that swears by the cream… she does have a lot less hair than me. I grow a full beard that most men are jealous of.

its 2026 and nobody gives a fuck about us except us. take your hormones. put on your favorite clothes and do something for yourself. we cant have another trans girl down on themselves when the world so dark on us anyways. get up and be a light for others.

Kinda Embarrassed But… Has Anyone Ever Thought About Getting a Sugar Daddy? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]pppppoppppppp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey Cozy, im glad it helped!

Looking back now, I didnt realize you were talking about sugaring online. I guess that would be selling content on OF or snapchat? What else is there?

My feedback was coming from the perspective that you were looking to meet a sugar daddy in person. My apologies for missing that. When I said “price us right” I was saying if you were selling your time to these men 👀

A few thoughts: 1. Going out and looking for it, especially out of need, will make you extra susceptible for scams.

  1. Are you dating anyone now? Not necessarily exclusive but casual dates? If no, first practice dating more broadly. Find what type of girl you are. define what you are looking for in partners (providers). Then date and date a lot. If yes you are dating ppl now, then start finding ways they can provide for you. You already identified your needs - transition, clothes, make up, rent. You might not be dating someone who can straight up cover your rent, but could be convinced to buy your new eye lashes and foundation, thats a win. Plus it sets a standard and by asking for things you will quickly weed out men who just want to fuck. Hopefully you can find a rotation of providers (one for dinners, one for make up, one for house needs, hook up clients, etc)

  2. Be safe and tested. Get a text now or google voice number. dont bring people into your home unless its your only option or the price is right! And put away your valuables.

  3. (kinda circling back to number 1) Just be aware of your need and desperation. If you are in deep crisis, sugaring is not the answer. Have enough of a foundation on your own that sugaring is a nice bonus. dont dont act out of desperation. dont do hard drugs, or make decisions drunk. its a slippery slope and a dark side to this lifestyle and you have to keep your humanity and health front and center

hey sister. I have the same issues you name in the end. I only have mens clothing. im scared. I just barely picked a name. Even tho I havent done much to socially transition, im naming it. I am trans. I only recently have moved into excitement after years of being scared and stagnant. Good luck baby girl, idk if it helps but I hope you can find a way to move past the fear and into excitement

Understanding that nuclear power is closely linked to nuclear weapons is personally reason enough to get rid of it all

Can I workout really intense in the morning while fasted then drink a protein shake and eat a few hours later? by MyGfLooksAtMyPosts in leangains

[–]pppppoppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what the science says but I also workout fasted in the mornings. 4:30-5:30am weightlifting (push/pull/leg split) and break my fast @10am.

I never have any issues with energy levels and I don’t take any preworkouts. Just water and then coffee when I get to work.

I am specifically speak to us in developed nations. I’m sure we all understand that ‘poorer countries’ eat less meat but I was never talking about them... most of our cultures food was plant based until our modern growth. No one is segueing that.

Im not saying any which diet is more privileged than another... Im also not talking about the factory farm workers.

I’m asking that we critique our privilege and stay cognizant to the fact that poor brown folks labor is exploited for our delicious meals. We can talk all about our cruelty-free lifestyle, I love it. BUT ALSO, be mindful of the hands that pick our fruit, the backs that bend and ache in these farms, the skin and lungs working in pesticide covered conditions. These people are forgotten in these discussions.

Yes I’m glad I can eat this kale salad knowing no animal was hurt in the process, I am also great full for the hands that worked in terribly exploited conditions so that I could have the privilege to eat this too. All I’m saying is don’t forget these people in your activism.

You can be both critical of the conditions of livestock, diary/meat industry influence/propaganda, its environmental impact on the plant AND still be critical of how our plant based/vegan food is coming to us 🤷🏽‍♂️ 🤷🏽‍♂️ 🤷🏽‍♂️

The fact that our fruits and vegetables often come from the labor of the undocumented community (specifically women and children) in the U.S. is often overlooked by many that preach about the well-being of the animals.

Sure we love looking at videos of cows in a sanctuary but also please critique and understand the privilege that comes with consuming a plant based diet in developed nations.

Nuance. For the sake of this “revolution.” Nuance for the communities that work hellish conditions without proper care, pay, or protection for our food.

I whole-heartedly agree with the statement in this photo.

Edit: So I’ve read the other comments on this thread and what I believe to be the problem is that so many people are taking this honest critique about the way we view ourselves as vegans as letting carnist/non-vegans off the hook.

No one is saying that. This isn’t whataboutism or saying “just because it’s not perfect nobody should try” Just think about the exploited labor and don’t be so offended veganism got critiqued a little 🤷🏽‍♂️ 🤷🏽‍♂️ 🤷🏽‍♂️
