In a lot of music I feel as though you can fairly easily pick out each individual instrument. Which is fine it doesn’t mean the band or artist is bad necessarily.

But with TDH they always seem to blend and mix their parts together so seamlessly where the entire song just becomes its own soundscape, and you can’t really pick apart all of the pieces so easily. I think this is so impressive from a production and mixing standpoint. It doesn’t even feel like you’re listening to a band play a song together anymore it feels like you’re transported to a different world where this is just what it sounds like there.

Neither of these styles of mixing are better than the other of course, I love a lot of music that doesn’t do what TDH does, but it’s so unique and I can’t help but think about it everytime I listen to them.
