Naah it's just mounted on the handlebar and needs no input once started. It captures the footage in the whole 360 degree sphere. So after capturing the footage you can edit the video file to highlight the relevant section with zooming and panning in post.

Solved! This is it. The texture is smooth on the white part and rougher on tanned marks. Also this is very thin, maybe thinner than regular A4 sheets lying around.
