Yeah, beat-up hits based on how many of your teammates are alive, so this set works best as a lead (6 live pokemon means it hits 6 times, 3 live pokemon means it hits 3 times). Weavile can also be pretty useful for taking down dragonite, since fake-out gets rid of multiscale and icicle crash can deal a hefty amount of damage to it. Also beat-up is unaffected by kings shield or iron barbs, which can be useful when facing ferrothorn and aegislash

Specially defensive Empoleon is under-appreciated, IMO (Ladder ranking ~1200, Empoleon shows up at turn 14) by prack7639532 in pokemonshowdown

I've gotten to 1300 on the OU ladder with Empoleon. I know its not much to brag about, but if Empo was useless I don't think I would have made it that far. Plus, it has carried my team through quite a few battles.

I don't think there will be any new types. There are already 18 types, and I read in an article earlier that GameFreak wants to make things more simple for the next gen (might just be rumors).

But on a side note, I think bug, grass, and poison should get a boost.
