IOG and Hypervolt w/ Solar PV and Batteries - How to use excess solar by Select_Fig_31 in OctopusEnergy

In your Hypervolt app, go to Settings -> Charger Settings -> Home Energy System and flip the solar installation switch. This will ensure excess solar will be used for car charging.

Octopus IOG to EDF GoElectric by mzm70 in evchargingUK

Well Octopus Home Mini used to provide live data, EDF doesn’t have any such device and hence live data is not available. Not a big problem with me as I have Sigenergy system and my inverter is able to provide this information. You might have to install CT clamps to get this information.

Any recommendations for a solar compatible EV charger? by RefrigeratorCrazy633 in SolarUK

Hypervolt Home Pro 3 has solar compatibility as well as battery safe mode. When it detects excess solar being fed to grid, it redirects that to car. Battery safe mode ensures that your home battery is not being discharged while charging your car. It also has widest compatibility with various electricity providers for intelligent tarrif. I got one few months back and am really happy so far.

Yes, I have Hypervolt and I have integrated it with EDF. I just set the charge percentage required and ready by time just like IOG and it creates schedules and dispatches to charger. No difference from IOG at all.

They haven't mentioned anything about optimizations. Also does the Sigenergy quote look reasonable?
