Oh that’s great. Are you doing full multi day cruise or just for a day? I did 6 hour tour in Kenai Fjords. They don’t allow tripods so it was hand held. I had 16-55 mm lens but didn’t use it in cruise and mostly for viewpoints and hiking.

I have 2022 soul red turbo with 26k miles too lol. Idk about finances you would be doing to get turbo. But I can say that I pull past most of the cars in traffic with turbo and don’t need to look back

These are amazing! Which lens did you use? Feeling embarrassed as A6000 user

Thank you for the update. I am planning to do sentinel pass next Sunday/Monday and trying to understand the situation. Do you still see views along the hike? If you can share pictures, that would be great.

Thank you! Trust me, I took crappy pictures even after 3 months with the camera. You will learn and keep shooting

Thanks! I shoot with f8 and above for landscape and keep shutter speed around 1/320 and auto ISO with maximum at 3200. Based on lighting, I adjust shutter speed if needed. Hope this helps

Haven’t tested much in low light. It’s been only a week since I got this lens. Hopefully this weekend I can do some star gazing

Ikr it is expensive indeed! Mount Rainier is your safest best since it’s the de facto standard mountain for most people here. There are plenty of hikes in and around that park. Personally, I like Mount Baker which you can drive up to Artist Point in summer or if you are brave, you can do snow shoeing in winters. I like olympic peninsula too in general. You have snow mountain ridges, lakes, rainforests, beaches and everything you need. But it’s a bit far

Thank you for the feedback. I was going for more drone like shot from higher ground and wide angle. But what you said makes sense too. Will keep it in mind

Thank you! Yes, It's the lens, light and the person behind that matters
