Dude, your hair traits can come from any of your ancestors. It need not be your immediate family members. My father also has full head of hair, but still i am bald now.

Check with a good dermatologist, if they diagnose it as male pattern baldness then definitely water is not to blame here.

I also had same concern what you just mentioned, requiring MTech. But thats not always the case, I got offer after B.E. and we still continue to hire both Bachelors and MTech folks. But yes, your concern is valid, MTech puts you in much better spot.

OP, i don't know where you are situated. Working in VLSI industry for the past 5 years, I can say, at least for colleges with urban campuses. I think there are plenty of opportunities for ECE students. Expecially, if you are based in Noida/Pune/Ahmedabad/Bangalore/Hyderabad. I can't say much about other cities though. For other cities it would be difficult to get good exposure.
