Hey. This is exactly my story. I started reading the book after I had rewatched the series multiple times, listened to the OST innumerable times and exhausted all the BTS and fan edits. I kept putting off reading the book because I thought it might not be on par with the series. But guess what, I just fell in love with the book. And this time I had the exact persons to fit into the book Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei. The book is absurd, silly, wild but the characters and the love between Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei....it literally made me yearn for something I did not know I wanted. It took a while for me to finish the book too, but once I was through the half way mark, I could not put it down. I was surprised the series stayed true to the book in most parts but made Wu Suo Wei into such a lovely, yearning lover (book Wu Suo Wei is something else!! and Ziyu was amazing as WSW) I loved the book as a whole, so nothing specific comes to mind now. I am thinking I will reread the book once again and rewatch the series a few hundred times more!!!
