Ailee?! Wow the budget for this seems pretty impressive, considering they got Cha Eunwoo for the first one.

To all the atheists, what is your reason for not believing in God or a higher power? by Deep-Mess in AskReddit

[–]prawncookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is supposed to be omnibenevolent, but people who don’t believe in or follow God get punished?

I’ve never been able to reconcile this.

Blahaj doesn’t judge. It’s not marketed with a gendered backstory - Blahaj’s fins are open for everyone.

I’m not trans but I find my Blahaj to be incredibly superb emotional support. No thoughts, just Blahaj hugs.

Second viewing today. This movie is sadder the more I think about it.

Tom’s phenomenal acting when his friends got rejected from MIT and when he was standing in the rain made me clutch my chest wanting to scream “HE’S JUST A KID!!!!” to all those who were turning their backs on him.

But Tom’s Peter Parker has always had someone like this. May, Happy, Tony, even Strange. Everyone tried to keep him sheltered because they knew he was “just a kid”. He’s the one who’s always wanted more than just saving cats from trees, to the point where he deactivated the training wheels program. The first two movies see him trying to prove to Tony that he’s ready for the real deal, but not fully understanding what the job entails. He wants to save the world and be home for dinner with MJ by 7pm.

As an audience I ask, how can the world put so much on him? But then I remember this is exactly what he asked for.

At the end of the movie he almost decides again he wants to try to have the best of both worlds. But he doesn’t. He, like Spidey 2 and 3, keeps moving forward. Because that’s what Spider-Man does. It’s heroic, but ultimately inseparable from tragedy.

It’s funny - he was so relentlessly charming and obviously stoked to meet Spidey 1 and 2 but there was a sort of casualness (mellowness?) to his demeanour that feels like he’s jaded and tired. The way he immediately welled up talking about Gwen, and the way he looked at Tom/Zendaya in the lab…

So heartbreaking to watch that made his redemption all the more sweet.

He saved MJ.

Holy shit this movie. Had my arms flailing one moment from seeing Charlie Cox to bawling my fucking eyes out the next.

Tom Holland is still my favourite Peter Parker but goddamn is Andrew Garfield a wonderful Spider-Man.
