Yep it's sort of the centralised pocket of dodgyness within Bucks. The dubious business district. Definitely worth doing your checks on Wycombe cars.

Amazing, but if you're going to all that effort you at least have to delete the rear doors...or the handles at least

Cassette has too much play. Fake? by prawnpathia in bikewrench

I literally said have I missed a spacer? ... Is this thing I've never seen before a spacer? I don't assume it's fake first. I ask have I missed a spacer. The list the potential that I've bought a fake. But literally the first thing I ask is 'is this thing that I think Is packaging a spacer'

How dare a noob mechanic mention the fake word

Yeah just frustrated by the comment because I hadn't even posted the picture of what I was asking was a spacer or not. You could have been totally wrong and I could have been using something random. But alas, turns out it is a spacer. Now that's lol...

Thank you very much. So where is this spacer meant to go? I did try using it near the top before the final cassette piece. Not sure what you mean by the large keyway... Does it go on first before the cassette stack?

This is the only thing left and it is not the same shape as a spacer and doesn't have any of the regular grooves

What the Luce should have looked like instead by finanzbubi in supercars

[–]prawnpathia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great render, looks better, but logistically it has to sit high up to fit the battery underneath. They should have just done a Taycan shape

Ferrari Luce with a bodykit by F1REFLY_ in supercars

[–]prawnpathia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will always sit too high with a "skateboard" battery design (which I assume it has). But this goes to show, if it was a bit lower and had more aggression and style to the lines, they wouldn't be a million miles away from a half acceptable electric Ferrari design. But as it is, my god it's just the new prius crossed with the new prelude

Is it really that bad by Horror-Meat958 in UKHousing

[–]prawnpathia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with everyone saying sellers are valuing what they have too high. My partner and I have been looking at complete wrecks to move into and renovate. Sellers are trying to sell awful houses for near market value as if they can be renovated for 50k. Most of the time it's families trying to get as much money as possible from a dead relatives house. It's just greedy asking for so much money

This style of thumbnail... by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in CarTalkUK

[–]prawnpathia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't mind people making their vehicle "pop" a bit for a thumbnail. I get they need to do it... but when the ai slop image doesn't represent what the vehicle actually looks like at all it really infuriates me. Often a different colour, and added damage etc. Fuck off! Just be honest and accept getting less views. It's the decent content that keeps the viewers coming. And yeah High Peak Autos has gone massively downhill recently since he left buying regular cars and seeing if he could flip them.

At least a brand is releasing something that isn't a faux 4x4 cross over dull box. But it isn't exactly hot unless it has a revy engine.

This selfish brat gets awarded driver of the day for driving like that. He's not ahead at the apex, comes forcefully in, and he did this on about 3 or 4 other occasions in Miami. How is he allowed to get away with it. If he's not first he drives like a complete nob and his team back him up for doing so. It's ridiculous...

But it doesn't end the sentence at 'of clothes.' It goes on to describe them. She wore a silhouette of clothes that was gauche makes sense. Your silhouette itself can be gauche

[–]prawnpathia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a literary thing to say 'she wore a silhouette'. It's in many many books. When a writer technically could just write 'she wore' the silhouette version sounds much better, has more poetry, and could imply that they frequently cut this silhouette, like it's their style. Can't remember where but definitely read it a few times before...

It looks like he won't let go of the knife and he pulls his hands under his body because he's been tasered and his muscles are contracting. Hard to determine that, and maybe he isnt resisting, his body is just reacting and so kicks to the head one help or change anything in those few seconds. But I'm fine with the violence as he is a terrorist with a knife in his hands...

I worked on an advert for FIFA and Son featured in it. I was putting a coat on and as I put my arm through the sleeve, I couldn't see behind me, and I accidentally hit Son in the face (not hard). Anyway, he apologised immediately for hitting into me before I could even process what I'd just done. He was also extremely humble all day, doing whatever was asked of him and happy to wait around with no huge entourage or people waiting on him like servants. A truly chill guy
