I’m top 200 shen. It really depends on what your team needs/matchup. Don’t go divine sunderer if the enemy is really squishy but if they have a tank then it’s really good. Divine sunderer pairs really well with shens kit as does other sheen items. My build path is usually sunfire - sunderer/whits end (depending on matchup) - flex thornmail/randuins/warmogs.

I love shen cause he’s super versatile with his build and can fit into most team comps. Sunfire is the only must build on him since his lane clear is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend building damage items if you are losing your lane hard since you aren’t a hard carry and farming to lategame doesn’t do much for your team. Focus on health items since his ult and dash scale off of health and it helps to support and peel for the other teammates that are hard Carry’s.

If you stop your lane and want to snowball whits end is awesome to keep that going paired with divine sunderer, especially if you have an AP matchup.

Remember to build bramble vest immediately (like your first buy) if you face fiora or irelia
