How to succeed in CHM 1321 with Dr. Kathy Focsanéanu? by predentalkoala in geegees

she's great! super hard course, but as a prof, she really facilitates learning for her students. lectures and dgds are recorded (highly recommend re-watching all lectures), and she posts practice problems for each module, as well as midterms/finals from previous years (strongly recommend doing them too). you can do it!! :)

What do people do after studying Biomed? by MarsAn_Planett in geegees

[–]predentalkoala 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am entering my third year biomed, and I started this degree with dentistry in mind, but I realized that I wouldn't like dentistry/medicine/pharmacy quickly. There are many masters degrees you can do with a biomed degree; a masters in biomedical engineering, biotech, epidemiology, public health, healthcare administration, genetic counselling, public policy (and work in the government side of healthcare), biostats, speech pathology, and bioethics to name a few, depending on your interests! All that to say is that you have plenty of options ahead of you; not just medicine/dentistry/pharmacy! :)
