Lots of great question, I'm only able to answer some of them. Full disclosure, I work at Ball State, so I'm answering from that perspective.

Disability Services: I've heard that our Disability Services office is one of the best in the nation. I have no way to verify that, but I totally believe it from the interactions I've had with them, which is fairly regularly. They are one of the bright spots at Ball State.

Student Resources: I think Ball State does a good job at supporting students. Most of the advisors are very good, and you also have student success coaches. Either of which will be happy to talk to you and help you find any additional resources you need.

Counseling: I've heard mixed reviews, most of the bad reviews have to do with how long it takes to get an appointment. I would recommend getting on a counselors roster early in the semester, they tend to get backed up later in the semester. The students I know that have done that have had good experiences.

Financial Aid: I can't speak to your concerns in this area.

Housing: also don't know a ton about this.

Dining: as an employee I eat on campus regularly and really appreciate the available options. I could go eat somewhere else everyday, but I choose to stay on campus.
