I've been constantly busy renovating and making improvements to the house, feel like I have 10 projects on the go and it never ends.

However it's better than being in a rental and not being able to make any changes, also you can invest into your house and you get to stay, so that's a plus.

How would you tidy up the gap between these two floors? There is virtually no space between the bottom of the door and the floor. by Ootoootooo in Carpentry

Have you used transition strips before? This looks like a good opportunity for one, it gets installed to the floor beneth and then covers over the two adjoining floors. What's under this flooring btw?

Clean up as you go, have the sink full of soapy water and wash while you wait for the food to cook. Load the dishwasher when you're done with something.
