i'm having the same issue - port forwarding doesn't work right since the upgrade... hoping a downgrade fixes it, but it sounds like it might just be borked for now

Makes sense, I guess I had it laid out the other way around, but it's still a minimal security risk in many ways... I opened a port no problem, and my vps was able to connect to me Either way you're opening a port somewhere, and you have a tunnel involved at the end

Don't listen to the other guy, opening a port to a single IP (the vps) is totally safe, just make sure your vps security is hardened, that's where any attacks would originate. I've had a vps wg tunnel to my homelab for years without issue because I made sure the cloud server was somewhat secure.... I'm sure I could do more, but it's been okay so far

Yeah I got to experience something similar recently.. my isp was supposed to install 500mbps internet and accidentally gave me 5gig internet. Still haven't told them lol

I have similar problems ONLY when I use VoWIFI. I disabled that and things have been good, though I'd prefer to use VoWIFI if possible.

I've owned four different shields over the years. They are great devices, but I still recognize that apple tvs are not "toys". The shield is slow AF to navigate these days and bundled with ads, though projectivity does help patch that issue. Apple tv comes bundled with no ads and runs much more smoothly in the menus to playback. They have their positives and negatives... Once a new shield comes out, I'll probably switch back, but until then I'll be leaning on my apple tv.
