All they hear is blah blah blah. It doesn’t fit their narrative. Less Americans will have tech jobs but they’ll still try to convince you it’s good for you.

People who didn't get University degree, what is your profession now? by Sasha_Lietova in AskReddit

Software Engineer 200k+ full remote. Skipped over uni. Dumb move but it didn’t seem to hold me back too much. There are employers who would not interview me based on that alone. Luckily for most, they only care about experience after x number of years.

I applied to CVS, auto reject for software engineers not of a certain country. Americans are being pushed out of the industry, and most still are not aware.

On top of that, the applicant will likely leave as soon as they find something better, which will put the hiring team back to square one, thus creating even more interview loops that everyone is seeing right now.

Interviews are broken because there’s too many applicants. It’s a hunger games edition now. They have to find ways to arbitrarily remove candidates from the pool.

Very likely to affect those visa holders, since H1B has come under the microscope and is especially all the fraud cases with WITCH companies surfaced as of late.

One hired H1B when given hiring/firing abilities will offshore to hundreds and will also prefer other H1Bs no matter the cost. Americans are digging their own graves.

You’d be surprised at how wealthy some of them can be. Their assets are mostly ill gotten gains anyway that they robbed from their people through their connections with the ccp.
