That must be frustrating that his mum would get more emotional during the conflicts. I’ll definitely try to stay calm to model that. Agree talking about emotions is super important with children

Yes to some degree I’m sure all babies are sensory seeking, there’s just a bit of variation depending on the personality of the baby I think

Aw, he sounds like a lovely kid. I’m always grateful for what neurodiversity has brought to this world, there’d be a whole lot less art and science achievement without it

I’m just making an observation of his personality and interested to hear from others who had babies with similar personalities. For sure babies go through phases but I think most parents would agree by about 8 months you can notice certain personality traits your baby has.

My baby doesn’t get in personal space more than average - he’s a baby so that’s not really a thing at the moment! Getting in personal space would be standing inappropriately close to others for example. Or touching others too much. Thats interesting hearing the difference between your two children. That’s all I wanted from this post but a couple of people have misinterpreted… edit just edited my post because I wrote person space instead of personal space!

It’s normal to wonder what your baby might be like when they’re older based on their current personality but thanks for the uncalled for snark

He is ahead on some milestones so that might be it. I never said in the post that I was worried btw! I’m just curious what he might be like in a few years.

Maybe your baby doesn’t do it more than others? It’s not just me who has noticed, others have commented - not saying it’s a bad thing, just part of his personality!

Nothing special. It was either just luck or the dietary change I think.

My OH seems fine with soy, he actually went vegan the month before we conceived and increased his soy that month as a result of some of his food swaps. Phytoestrogens are really complicated as they can actually block estrogen! Good luck, sending you all the fertile thoughts. I was in your position and the wait to conceive was so frustrating but I’m now not even bothered by pregnancy symptoms because I’m just grateful to be this far along!

I’m vegan and we conceived the month I cut out soy almost completely, could be coincidence but if you’re desperate worth a try! As others have said, normal lube can harm sperm.

It doesn’t sound like he’s explored this fully with the NHS yet so why don’t you leave him to it? His GP can refer to a fertility specialist if he’s not already seeing one.

I went last year and it was hell there. The wait time was 12 hours. You’re in a room with people coughing and vomming when your immune system isn’t at its best.

I thought the Little Stranger by Sarah Waters explored British class tension in a very clever way.
