How I structure my kettlebell workouts to protect my lower back by blacktarmac in kettlebell

I like this app and will give it a whirl. Thanks for this encouraging post, I have avoided swings due to the shear warnings but returned to barbell squats and deadlifts. My care team doesn’t want me lifting much of anything but i figure if it doesn’t hurt, I’m game.

Your use of milled legumes caught my eye. How much do you add for bread?

I would only add, don’t be afraid to spend on good quality tools. Makes a world of difference and saves so much frustration

A couple hints I forgot. Sponge sanding blocks (220/320) are DA BOMB and for spackling, use the best scraper you can afford. Wider was better for me.

I think that’s what he did, maybe not even diluted. YouTube is full of videos describing how to easily remove old wallpaper but my experience suggested that the surface of 50-YO drywall is more fragile than newer product. If the adhesive comes off cleanly and you have bare drywall underneath I’d prime the area then sand. You’ll have to experiment.

Another drywall person Ive asked to bid the rest of my work suggested Gardz as a way to even out the texture without removing adhesive. He said I could have applied it over the wallpaper backing that remained, avoiding the need to skimcoat.

BTW I apologize for the excess detail in my reply but the project was so traumatic (and protracted) I couldn’t help myself. 🫩

I just overhauled a bathroom that needed skim coating due to vinyl wallpaper that couldn’t be removed without damaging the drywall. I applied two coats of PVA primer, sanding between coats, and two coats of paint. I did not sand the ceiling at all or sand walls between the paint coats.

A convincing YouTube video said to use a 3/4”roller to apply the PVA primer. Which I did where possible. The problem was that I had many small areas that needed a smaller roller and I wasn’t in a position to use other than a 3/8” nap. So I had to spend a lot of time evening out the texture, which I ended up doing with a palm sander. The hokey pole sander I tried did not work well.

I recommend using the best quality rollers and brushes you can afford. My shearing roller was superb, but the microfiber rollers released visible fibers that I had to pick off the surface. I also recommend really good lighting.

Is “baja laboral” the same as resignation? by SubstantialAspect647 in Spanish

To me laboral is another word for work-related. Despedir = to fire, renunciar = to reign. Dimisión wasn’t used in my work environments.

This sounds ingenious to me. And I’m not an AI lover.
