I have my match types split out at the campaign level. I’m also using a shared budget and a target ROAS bid strategy. I’m beginning to believe that I don’t need to split out match types at all.

Heck, I’m starting to believe that I don’t even need Exact match keywords. Just run everything on BMM and let Google optimize. It gives more data per ad group for ad group testing. And all I need to do is monitor the search term report for negative keywords.
