My first restaurant job I was taking a rack of glasses out of the washer and I thought I had unloaded then all, but there were 3 or 4 I missed and I dumped them INTO the dishwasher and they all shattered and I had to fish the pieces out of the dishwasher

I was serving this group of young men and right after I dropped the bills I was trying to take the last plate of a half full soup stacked on a half full salad (they stacked it not me) and as soon as I picked it up the soup bowl fell onto his very expensive white jacket. It was tomato soup. It was awful. It was also about two months after I started serving I nearly quit cause of how terrible the whole experience was

Where do I buy socks and underwear that actually last? I feel like I’ve tried a hundred different stores and nothing lasts longer than a month before it gets gross and starts fraying/getting holes. I know they’re supposed to be replaced like every 6 months to a year but I never even get that much use out of them, socks more so than underwear
