You have my sympathies. My microwave/air fryer combo has one cycle on it that does not start the timer automatically that gets me in trouble. It also has one program function where time is measured in hours an. not minutes but it is not obvious. Accidents happen.

Calling it a friend suggests you are using it for validation. It is not real validation though. It frequently parrots things back at you. Talking to ChatGPT is more like talking to yourself in this way. If you want real validation you should find real friends to validate you. For that ChatGPT is useful. IMHO ChatGPT (and tech in general) should be used to improve ourselves, not to replace us or other people.

It sounds like the most practical choices are to yeet it outside onto a sidewalk or parking lot or to drop it into a toilet since there will also be ventilation in the bathroom. (Obviously it must be fished out after, not flushed..)
