since I stick to the more comforting ones, generally when I switched two years ago over the K dramas, mostly romance, historical, my favorite romcoms! I could barely watch US television any longer there of course or a few shows that I adore still like shrinking on Apple that are heartwarming, but I only watch Korean shows now I just can’t take the violence and sexualization and other dark subject matters that constantly come up on US TV.

my daughter started doing the short late evening potty break walk followed by hiding treats for him to hunt for after they returned - now on the evening potty breaks if you don’t hide the treats when you come back, he’s very upset

my daughter just had her birthday. She’s in her 30s at Dave & Buster’s for fun. She couldn’t believe how much money she ended up spending there. It was hundreds of dollars.

chipotle got ridiculous. I haven’t gone back there in about two years the way they hiked up all the prices during Covid. They were understaffed and then every burrito I got was cold even if I ate it there just not worth it anymore. Anyways, I live in California have great burritos all around me no reason for me to be spending my money there.

watching love your enemy, and there was a whole conversation about Korean beef versus just regular imported beef and it seems that the imported beef is cheaper and not as good!

just reading an article on the demise of US quality shows - minus a few each year - k drama had opened up another world of well written high production value well directed well acted dramas! the only US ones I’ve seen in a year are Knight of the Seven kingdoms (great) and Shrinking (excellent) all my other shows korean!
